Okay okay okay, I cannot lie. The image above has got to be one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken. So much so that I want to hang it on the walls in my own home but I guess my studio will suffice. That's the thing about my job - with every session comes a new favorite picture. And with every new favorite picture comes a drive to expand my editing knowledge. When I edited this picture I used a new little hack that I learned and I don't think I could ever go back to my old ways of editing. Josephine's parents booked my Newborn Mini Package which consisted of 5 digital images. When I sent off the proofing gallery to her momma she had the hardest time narrowing it down to 5 and ultimately decided to purchase 6 additional images. She really is the sweetest. Newborn sessions take place weekdays at my Grafton, Ohio storefront studio. Josephine's session started at 11 am and they were out the door by 1:30 pm. Typically starts time vary anywhere from 9-11 am and take on average 2-3 hours to complete. A huge determining factor for the length of the session is whether or not you want parent and/or sibling posing. If you decide that is something that you would like then that is where we will start. From there I will continue to work my way through the remainder of the session so you and your hubby can sit back and relax for the rest. This sweet little girl was such an angel baby it was hard for me to wrap up. She was so sleepy making it so easy to transition from pose to pose. At her session she was just over 7 pounds and 11 days old. I cannot stress how important it is that your session takes place within the first two weeks after birth. That way your baby is more likely to fall into a deep sleep and things such as baby acne and colic aren't fully developed.
